GO Trips

What are Global Outreach (GO) Trips?

short term trips

Global Outreach (GO) Trips are amazing opportunities for people from Calvary to serve with our missionaries and our partnership organizations, helping to further the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through these trip experiences, participants get to help make a difference in the lives of others, while also growing deeper in their relationship with the Lord. Where is God calling you to go?

Upcoming Trips

Please consider how you can prayerfully and financially support these Global Outreach (GO) Trips, as they head out to share the truth and love of Jesus across cultures and generations.

Mexico (Homes of Hope)

January 17-19, 2020
Calvary Church, together with YWAM (Youth With A Mission), will be sending out 160 volunteers, made up of 30 plus families, to build homes for those in need in Mexico. This two day GO trip called, "Homes of Hope" drastically changes the life of a family forever. We bring the labor along with servant hearts and hands to build several homes and share the love of Jesus to families in need of hope. The life-changing impact is not just on the family receiving the gift but on the group serving!

Lesvos, Greece

June & July 2020 (Two Adult trips, One College trip)
Millions are fleeing from the tyranny of war, famine, and heartache. In fact, this is the largest movement of people in modern history since the Second World War. For most, Europe offers the only hope of safety, and many risk the very real threat of death on their journeys. Often, these people are seen as a problem, and while our enemy can use people to kill, steal, and destroy, God sees each and every person as a unique and loved creation. These are our neighbors, and we want to introduce each and every refugee to the God who loves them. We will be partnering with Greater Europe Mission and Euro Relief as we serve in Camp Moria Refugee Camp doing various tasks such as tent-building, housing people, assembling hygiene kits and clothing packs, taking census around camp, greeting and feeding new arrivals, monitoring living spaces, and other similar jobs.

June 2020 | $2,800 - $3,000
In partnership with Calvary Missionary, Larry Dunne, we will be involved in door-to-door and street evangelism. The Dunne’s and their team have added three more church plants that are in progress, making a total of eight in western Ireland. With Larry’s Irish fishing background, there have been many open doors to evangelizing to those living on the nearby Irish islands.

San Francisco

June 2020 | Cost TBD
The Middle School Ministry at Calvary Church will be partnering with Center for Student Missions where they will have the opportunity to serve with a different organization or church each day of your trip, gaining a broad overview of the needs of the Bay Area and how God is at work. Our ministry partners span from SF to Oakland, San Leandro to Richmond and cross various sectors, although, you will often work with Food Justice and at risk children and youth because these needs are currently the greatest.

August 2020 | $5,000
This team is looking forward to ministering in two countries: Turkey and Moldova. We’ll begin in Turkey (August 17-22) by touring Istanbul and three cities of the seven churches (Smyrna/Izmir, Pergamon/Bergama, and Ephesus/Selcuk) of Revelation with Calvary Church missionary, Oleg Reutki of New Hope Eurasia. We will also visit today’s Turkish believers and Calvary Church missionaries. (This trip is also offered as separately for those unable to go to Moldova. Anticipated cost $3,000.) Then we will go to Moldova with Oleg. Moldova is the poorest country in Europe. However, we’ll see Christians rich in faith and hope. We will serve with KidZ at Heart International, a mission organization that equips children’s ministry leader to help kids love Jesus. Some of us will be training Moldovans in ministry to children while others will serve hands-on by visiting Transition Homes, orphanages, and more. (The costs for this portion are estimated to be $2,000 in addition to the Turkey costs).

Ten2 Project

June - August 2020 | Cost Varies
